These ratchet lashings are more secure, reliable and much ligher in weight compared to chains, wire & jute ropes which were traditionally used. It also offers a significant advantage over steel banding, the latter being much heavier and more prone to damaging the finished goods, ratchet lashings belts provide a superior level of cargo control through high pre-tensioning.
